(AP) — Bret Michaels is out of the hospital. Dr. Joseph Zabramski of the Barrow Neurological Institute in Phoenix says Michaels is talking very well and is mentally aware of everything going on, but he can’t walk very well. He says Michaels is still in pain as the blood near his brain dissolves. Zabramski expects Michaels will make a 100 percent recovery and he’s lucky to be alive. Michaels suffered a brain hemorrhage shortly after having an appendectomy last month. Zabramski says Michaels’ condition is probably unrelated to the appendectomy or to the incident at the Tony Awards last year when Michaels was hit in the face with a piece of scenery. He recommends Michaels wait at least four to six weeks before resuming normal activity.
