TrueCar.com, billing itself as “the authority” on new car pricing is predicting a good July when it comes to new vehicle sales.
The company says it expects the total of new vehicles sold in the U.S. including fleet sales to come in at around 1,042,543 units. If that pans out it would represent a 6% increase over July of last year.
TrueCar.com says General Motors is expected to experience the biggest gain in sales over last year. The group says Toyota is expected to see a loss in sales.
Checking on Detroit’s Big-3 comparing this July with one year ago, TrueCar.com says GM sales are expected to increase by 23.2%, Ford should be up by about 8.4% and Chrysler should see an increase of 1.3%.
