‘Man vs. Wild’ star Bear Grylls suffered damage to his leg when a camera on a sled slammed into him  in the Canadian Rockies.  While no bones were broken the celebrity survivalist had to be airlifted off the mountain.

The sled barely missed his head and slammed into his leg causing the hardened adventurer to cry.  Bear Grylls is not new to pain.  His career in the British military came to a close when he broke his back while jumping from a helicopter with a  dud parachute.

The new season of ‘Man vs. Wild’ starts tonight at 9pm ET on Discovery – Details
