The temps were in the 40s early yesterday morning, ideal for those taking part in the Detroit Free Press Marathon.

An estimated 20,000 strong took to the streets of downtown Detroit and Windsor to compete in the 33rd annual Detroit Free Press Marathon.  There was also half run/walk marathon and a 5k run/walk.

Full monty marathon runners trotted under the Detroit-Windsor Tunnel and over the Ambassador Bridge to finish the race.  In fact, this is the only international marathon in the world.
