Cameras will be allowed in court for the manslaughter trial of Dr. Conrad Murray, for the death of [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Michael Jackson[/lastfm]. Los Angeles Superior Judge Michel Pastor says he will go along with having cameras cover the trial — if they don’t get in the way of the proceedings.
There is another hearing set for February 15, at which time TV outlets would be expected to draw up coverage plans.
Meanwhile, jury selection in the case is being moved up to March 24, four days earlier than first scheduled.
Dr. Conrad Murray has is charged with involuntary manslaughter in Jackson’s death. He has pleaded not guilty.
