Barbra Streisand Performs 'Evergreen' At The GRAMMY Awards

Eight time GRAMMY winner [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Barba Streisand[/lastfm] made a rare appearance at the 53rd Annual[photogallerylink id=46792 align=right] GRAMMY Awards tonight performing “Evergreen.”

Streisand looked classic and beautiful in a maroon gown and received a standing ovation from the crowd!

In addition to being a performer Streisand was also nominated for Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album for Love Is The Answer.

I love Barbara. Her voice is the most beautiful ever. Thanks Barbara.

Babs deftly avoided the high notes in “Evergreen” and kept a firm hand on the mic stand for support, but hell, I’m a 68 year old vocalist myself and know the pitfalls of an aging voice. Nontheless, It was wonderful to see/hear Barbra again at the 2011 Grammys presentation. Its been too long. Go Babs Go!
