[lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Madonna[/lastfm] is prepping to return to the studio and record a new album!
Billboard reports the pop star has to deliver on a $100 million multi-rights deal with Live Nation.
Live Nation Entertainment Chairman Irving Azoff told Billboard.biz, “They tell me Madonna is about to record, so there could be another Madonna cycle coming.”
Madonna signed a ten-year contract with Live Nation in 2007. Prior to that she has a 25 year relationship with Warner Bros. The singer’s “Sticky & Sweet” tour grossed $408 million worldwide! Madonna’s upcoming record is likely to be followed with a large-scale tour as well.
Madonna will jump into the studio as soon as she wraps up her directing work on the film W.E..
