[photogallerylink id=15246 align=right] Reginald Garcia claims to have invented a motor that generates more electricity than it uses. Stranger yet, he plans to fund the testing of his motor with the profits from the sale of over 130 unpublished Michael Jackson photos.

We’re not making this up.

The photos were taken in 1978 and show a very handsome pre-plastic surgery Jackson with his brothers at a Hollywood studio.

CNN reports Morgan’s Keya Gallery is buying the image copyrights and helping Reginald Garcia sell the original slides, prints and contact sheets.

How does Garcia’s engine work? He told CNN that “it captures the negative electromagnetic field as it collapses, sends energy to a capacitor and recharges the battery.”

It sounds like science fiction but for all our sakes I hope it’s true.
