[photogallerylink id=65988 align=right] 104.3 WOMC’s Big 4 at 4 counts down the best from[lastfm link_type=”artist_info”] Pete Townshend [/lastfm]and [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]The Who[/lastfm]

You can thank Pete’s Grandma for the inspiration: She gave Pete his first guitar on his 12th birthday. Hopefully, he didn’t smash it!  Wonder if she’ll give him one today? Anyway, great gift granny! Pete, who is currently writing his memoirs, went on to make rock history with [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]The Who[/lastfm], including getting in ‘The Guinness Book of Word Records’ for the LOUDEST concert ever, the London [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Who[/lastfm] concert on May 31, 1976 that measured 126 decibels. Shockingly, [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Pete Townshend [/lastfm]suffers from hearing loss!

It’s hard to just limit his birthday set list to 4 songs, but it is The Big 4 at 4, so get your windmill air guitar going, and check it out:

Magic Bus

I Can See For Miles

Pinball Wizard

My Generation
