Makin’ Thunderbirds Bob Seger

From 1982’s album “The Distance”, “Makin’ Thunderbirds” is a Bob Seger song that tells the story of a young Detroiter workin’ on the assembly line in 1955 (the first year of the Ford Thunderbird) putting out a special kind of car. It’s more than a song about making cars, it’s a metaphor for a young man’s optimism for life and country. Thought you might like to see some cool pics of T-Birds while ya listen to the song.
