Twenty-six years later Wilson will never be forgotten by his fans, his family and his band. Despite such a great loss the band carried on and has been mesmerizing their fans for decades with upbeat timeless tracks. If that’s not a tribute to Ricky’s incredible talent – nothing is!

[photogallerylink id=30165 align=right] This October the band has something to celebrate…  the B-52’s have released their first-ever live album! The B-52’s With The Wild Crowd is a high-energy live recording of a show commemorating the 34th anniversary of the band’s first live show on Valentine’s Day 1977. The band hit “record” in their hometown at Athens’ Classic Center in Athens, Georgia.

You just had this feeling in the air. Then I look out and see this big banner that says, “Ricky is Here!” I just stopped and, oh my God, I got chills. We all talked about him but when we played, his presence was everywhere, all around me. It was incredible.”
