The Tigers Blast Back

[photogallerylink id=90414 align=right] The Tigers bounced back in game three of the ALCS last night at Comerica Park with a 5-2 win over the Texas Rangers.

The Tigers beat the Rangers 5-2 last night at Comerica Park. Doug Fister pitched into the 7th inning and gave a solid performance. Finally, Tiger bats got going in this one with solo homers from Victor Martinez, Miguel Cabrera and Jhonny Peralta.

It’ll be Rick Porcello on the mound tonight in game four of the series and a Tigers win would even the series up at 2 wins each. Game time is 4:19 at Comerica Park. And by the way to enable Tigers fans to watch the end of the game, the Red Wings have moved the start time of their game to 8pm at the Joe against Vancouver tomorrow night. The Tigers game should end around 7pm unless it goes into extra innings.

Brian Williams gave Detroit a shout-out last night on his NBC Nightly News broadcast. He applauded the city for the Tigers, undefeated Lions and Wolverines and he also made note of the Detroit auto industry rebound. Nice!
