You’re invited to get your kids dressed up in their best costumes and take them to the Detroit Historical Museum on Sunday for some safe and fun trick or treating. It’s the 10th Annual Treats In The Streets at the Detroit Historical Museum.
Kids are invited to the 10th Annual Treats In The Streets event this Sunday at the Detroit Historical Museum. The fun will be centered at the museum’s signature Streets of Old Detroit exhibit.
Bottom line here is that this event the perfect, safe opportunity for kids between the ages of 3 and 12 to dress up as their favorite cartoon character, ghost, goblin, celebrity, super hero or how about historic hero? After all they will be at a place that celebrates history!
Admission to the Museum is free for children under 12, dressed in costume and who are members of the Detroit Historical Society.
Adult admission is $6. Kids 5-17 get in for $4. And while you’re there check out the great exhibits like Frontiers to Factories, The Motor City, and The Glancy Trains. The latter one always draws big crowds.
The Detroit Historical Museum is located a 5401 Woodward Avenue (that’s at the NW corner of Kirby.) Again, the hours are from noon until 3pm on Sunday afternoon. For more information please call (313) 833-1805.
