Legendary jazz guitarist, George Benson, was performing at a tribute for Motown legend Stevie Wonder a few years ago and sang Stevie’s hit “My Cherie Amour”. Wonder loved the performance and afterwards went backstage to say to Benson “You have to record that song” . Benson did just that on his new album “Guitar Man” . Benson says, “I think it’s acceptable. I haven’t heard from him yet, so I don’t know what he (Stevie) thinks of it.” What do you think of it?
