The National Enquirer reports the 83-year-old crooner singer traveled to Texas with his wife, Debbie to consult specialists at the MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston. Beginning on October 31, Williams began a three-week course of chemotherapy.
“Andy got the diagnosis of invasive bladder cancer very recently,” a source told the National Enquirer. “That means his cancer has invaded the lining of his bladder, but doctors weren’t sure yet whether it had spread to other parts of his body.”

“If the chemo shrinks the tumors, doctors will surgically remove Andy’s bladder,” the Enquirer’s source noted, adding that after a second round of chemo in Houston, Williams and his wife will relocate to a rental home in Malibu.

“Andy is in for the fight of his life, and he wants to be closer to the hospitals in L.A. that have top-flight cancer treatment centers,” the source explained.

The National Enquirer also reports that according to William’s website, AndyWilliams.com,  may not perform at his annual Christmas show in Branson, Mo.
