Paul told the London Times he grew suspicious when the media was reporting on things he hadn’t gone public with, like his vacation plans.
“I used to talk on the phone and say, “If you’re taking this down, get a life,” McCartney said. “It is a pity not to be able to talk freely on a private call.”
Now McCartney keeps his messages vague. “I tend not to say much on the phone now. If I leave a message, its benign. You edit yourself according to the new circumstances of the new world. I think it would be quite good to get some sort of laws.”
Perhaps Paul should just record his messages onto records and then play them backwards. Oh wait…
