Santa’s Toy Castle

[photogallerylink id=99713 align=right] At 104.3 WOMC we want every child to have a Christmas – and you can help!

104.3 WOMC will be collecting unwrapped toys for “Santa’s Toy Castle” on Friday, December 16, 2011 (6 a.m. -10p.m.) and Saturday, December 17, 2011 (8 a.m. – 10 p.m.) outside the TCF Bank in Canton (45375 Ford Road, Canton, MI 48188). MAP

All toys collected will be distributed through The Salvation Army to children and families in need this Christmas. Cash and gift cards are also being accepted and will be converted into gifts.

104.3 WOMC morning show host Bobby Mitchell has pledged to remain up in the broadcast tower until 10,000 toys are collected! If he has to he’s prepared to sleep up there!  So come out, bring a toy and cheer him on!

Also, Santa will be available for photos! Your child can have their photo taken with Santa from 12 -4 p.m. Friday or from 1 to 5 p.m. on Saturday.  We’ll have a photographer taking the pictures and uploading them to our website for you to download later and you’re also welcome to bring a camera and take your own photo! Children are also encouraged to make a Christmas ornament at the craft table sponsored by Mans Lumber! There will be sampling of CF Burger Creamery Egg Nog, McDonald’s Premium Roast Coffee & McDonald’s apple slices.

If you can’t make it to Canton drop off toys at the front desk of the 104.3 WOMC lobby in Ferndale on Friday, December 16 from 8:30 a.m to 5:30 p.m.. 104.3 WOMC is located at 2201 Woodward Heights Blvd., Ferndale, MI 48220. MAP

A special thanks to event sponsors: TCF Bank, CF Burger Creamery Egg Nog, Warren Consolidated Schools, Man’s Lumber and McDonald’s Premium Roast Coffee.
