According to blogger, Eddie Deezen of Mental Floss, Lennon fancied cats… a lot.
The blog post has an extensive list of furry felines owned by Lennon including “Elvis”, his boyhood cat, a cat named “Jesus” and a Russian Blue named “Alice” who used up her ninth life when she lept from a window in the Dakota apartment building.
