[photogallerylink id=77566 align=right] Deen Castronovo, drummer for [mp3com-artist]Journey[/mp3com-artist], did some time in the jailhouse over the weekend.  TMZ reports  Castronovo was arrested in Oregon on Saturday for allegedly assaulting his girlfriend.

Law enforcement confirmed the charges include coercion, assault in the 4th degree, criminal mischief  in the 2nd degree, interfering with making a report and harassment.
A sources tells TMZ that an altercation occurred after an alleged physical confrontation when Castronovos refused to let his girlfriend call her father.

Castronovo posted a $52,500 bail and has since been released. A rep told TMZ that Castrovono claims  “it was a misunderstanding that should not have been escalated to such a level in the first place.”
