[photogallerylink id=24971 align=right][mp3com-artist]Aerosmith[/mp3com-artist] is hitting the round in 2012 for a summer tour. Joe Perry, guitarist for the band, took to Twitter to announce their summer plans. No word on any specifics, but Joe did say tickets will go on sale in March.

Of course, the band will have to wait for Steven Tyler to finish up this season of American Idol before heading out on tour. If I was a betting man, an official announcement will probably happen on Idol.
