Whitney Houston Dead At 48

Sad news in the music world today. Whitney Houston has died at the age of 48. During her career she won two Emmy Awards, six Grammy Awards, 30 Billboard Music Awards, and 22 American Music Awards. She had the first female album to ever debut at #1 on the Billboard Charts and has sold 200 million albums world wide.

Whitney Houston’s publicist Kristen Foster said Saturday that the singer had died, but the cause and the location of her death were unknown. TMZ is reporting that the singer died at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.

A video recently surfaced on YouTube from February 9th, 2012 of what could be Whitney’s last performance before she passed away.
