The New York Post reports the 67 year-old guitarist received a bypass  at Mount Sinai Heart Institute in Miami Beach last week.

The Post also reports the procedure involved using a shunt to unite the aorta and iliac artery and relieve obstruction. His ex-wife Ann Dexter-Jones  and her daughter, Charlotte Ronson, were at his side.

Mick has to get better fast! Foreigner starts up a new U.S. tour on March 1.
