Have you finished your taxes yet? Better get on it! The filing deadline is Tuesday, April 17th this year. That’s because the regular deadline of April 15th falls on Sunday and Monday it’s Emancipation Day in the District of Columbia. Most have already filed and most will get a refund of at least a few hundred dollars. So have you figured out how you’re going to blow that dough? Take my poll and let me know.

If you’re like most, you’ll get a refund from the IRS amounting to at least a few hundred dollars this year. My question is how are you going to spend the money? So it’s my Top 10 Ways To Blow Your IRS Refund list this time around.

In past years we’ve used our refund in a variety of different ways. We’ve done a weekend getaway, enjoyed a fancy dinner out, done some home improvement, spiffed up the garden and paid off some bills.
