Dick Clark On ‘This Was Your Life’

Dick Clark passed on today at the age of 82. At the young age of 30 Clark was surprised on an episode of “This Was Your Life.”

It’s amazing to watch Clark’s maturity and natural stage presence. Clark’s parents appeared on the show to tell stories about Dick’s childhood and how Dick lost his older brother in WWII. Some of the biggest names in music and television of the day also make an appearance to swap stories about Clark including Andy Williams, Connie Francis and Frankie Avalon. Dick’s first wife, Barbara Maller, and first born son, Richard, also appeared. Overall a really sweet video covering Clark’s early days in radio and television.
