The 21st Annual Detroit Music Awards Will Include A Performance By Suzi Quatro’s ‘Pleasure Seekers’

Music aficionados will want to head to the Fillmore Detroit tonight for the 21st Annual Detroit Music Awards at 7 p.m..

The Oakland Press reports Suzi Quatro’s early band, The Pleasure Seekers/Cradle, will perform and accept a Distinguished Achievement Award!

The Pleasure Seekers were a groundbreaking girl band of the 1960’s consisting of Patti Quatro , Suzi Quatro, Mary Lou Ball, Nancy Ball, Diane Baker. Later, The Pleasure Seekers morphed into Cradle.  Additional members of the band included Arlene Quatro, Darline Arnone and Nancy Quatro.

The Oakland Press reports other performers will include the Amy Gore & Her Valentines and Gorevette, Black Milk, Ben Sharkey, Savage Grace, Paulina Jayne and the Planet D Nonet. The Pleasure Seekers/Cradle and Saint Andrews Hall will receive Distinguished Achievement Awards. The Detroit Dog Rescue will also receive a Special Achievement Award.

Tickets are just $20 or $25!
