Rolling Stones Drop New Hints About 50th Anniversary In Video

While the Rolling Stones have been keeping their 50th anniversary plans held close to the vest, even to the point of saying it wasn’t going to happen this year, there is now new speculation.

The Stones just posted a video on their website recognizing their 10 millionth fan on Facebook. (I only need 9,999,900 to catch them on mine Jim JJ Johnson)  The news here is that Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Ronnie Wood and Charlie Watts are pictured together in what appears to be a studio with musical instruments behind them. A spokesman for the band said they were just “Having fun playing some music.” Un Huh!

The last time the Stones played Detroit was halftime at Super Bowl 40 in  Ford Field in 2006.  Their last concert here was in 2005 at Comerica Park.
