The Detroit Pistons have torn a page out of the WOMC playbook. The basketball team has announced a series of halftime concerts for the next couple of months featuring the stars of Detroit’s iconic music label Motown Records.
The first performer is Gladys Knight next Monday November 12th. Two weeks later on Monday the 26th, Mary Wilson of the Surpremes will entertain.
Other games will feature a newer generation of artists like Sheila E. MC Hammer and Bobby Brown.
Hopefully, the talented halftime shows will help ignite the Pistons fans and players who have begun the 2012-2013 canpaign with a disappointing 0-4 record.
You can also listen to your favorite Mowtown stars most Mondays on 104.3 WOMC with “Motown Mondays”.
