Rolling Stones guitarist Ron Wood tied the knot for the 3rd time on December 21st in a private ceremony at the Dorchester Hotel in London.  The 65 year old rocker married 34 year old theater producer Sally Humphreys.

Wood told guests: “I wish I’d met Sal earlier. I can’t think of another girl more suited to me.”  ”She looked beautiful walking through that doorway. I feel very blessed to have a new family.  My dad and brothers are no longer with us so it’s really nice to be welcomed by a new gang. Her relatives are lovely.”

The groom chose 2 of his best friends to be best men.  Fellow rockers Rod Stewart and Paul McCartney.  He said he chose them because: “They have always been very supportive of me and Sally.” Last year, when he took Sally to McCartney’s third marriage, to Nancy Shevell, Macca told him, “You two make a great couple.”

The Rolling Stones recently finished a 5 show 50th anniversary mini-tour in London New York and New Jersey.  They have not announced plans t extend the tour in 2013 but it has been widely hinted that they will.  A Rolling Stones tour has never skipped  Detroit so stay tuned!  As soon as we get confirmation, you will be the first to know.
