It’s Press Week at the North American international Auto Show and manufacturers are unveiling new products every day. On Monday , for example, Chevrolet introduced the all new Corvette Stingray C-7.
It’s a Corvette! We know it’s gonna be fast and packed with all the latest automotive technology, including an all new updated airplane like cockpit with leather, carbon fiber and soft plastics.
Let’s focus on some of the changes in the exterior cosmetics. First, gone are the traditional round Corvette taillights. Replaced by those more reminisent of the new Chevy Camaro. The front of the car features a grill that looks like a throwback to the look of models from the late ’50s. Also, something borrowed from the1963 Corvette, a sloping roof that tapers toward the bottom.
Here’s a video tour of the 2014 Stingray from Autoweek Magazine.
What do you think of the changes in the new generation of America’s iconc sports car?
Press Week for the NAIAS culminates Friday night with the annual Charity Preview. The show opens to the public on Saturday at Cobo Center in downtown Detroit.
