The good news from the Seger camp just keeps on comin’!
Billboard Magazine is reporting that the 2 Detroit rockers will take the stage together during Seger’s upcoming tour March 15th in St. Paul, Minnesota and the next night, March 16th, in Fargo, North Dakota.
Tickets for both shows will go on sale Saturday January 26th at 10am.
Kid Rock and Seger have appeared on stage before but for just a couple of songs. This time they will be co-headlining.
The pair have been friends since 2000 when they shared the same manager, Punch Andrews. They also collaborated on Seger’s rendition of the Vince Gill song “Real Mean Bottle”, which appeared on Seger’s last new album in 2006, “Face The Promise”. Seger also appeared on Rock’s song “Born Free” in 2010.
It was also Kid Rock who inducted Seger into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2004.
