We’re getting a report that Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel, who served as White House Chief of Staff under President Barack Obama, is going to rename the Windy City “Obama City.” The Weekly World News, a tabloid notorious for outrageously wild stories, says Emanuel considers the president on the same level with Jesus, Gandhi and Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

The report also says Emanuel is renaming all city parks. Every city park will start off with “Obama.” For example, Grant Park will become “Obama Grant Park.”

President Obama considers Chicago his home and frequently returns for visits. The Weekly World News says his reaction to the renaming of the Windy City was very positive. The online tabloid says the president is thrilled that “Chicago has made the right decision for its citizens.” And it’s the belief of the president that Obama City will soon become the greatest city in the world.

No word yet on whether the phrase on Illinois license plats “Land of Lincoln” might be changed to “Land of Obama.”
