Monday’s Mutt – Meet Ernie

Well it’s time to tempt you with another wonderful little friend who is looking for a new loving and forever home. Today we have Ernie. If Ernie looks familiar it’s because this is his second appearance. The folks at the shelter are especially hopeful that Ernie will be able to finding a new and forever loving home.

Ernie is a 2 year old boxer/lab/shepherd mix being offered for adoption by the Animal Welfare Society of Southeastern Michigan. Ernie was rescued from a shelter where he was in danger of being euthanized.

This boy is just super sweet and will make a great family dog. He absolutely loves being with people. He is up to date on all his shots, is house broken and has been snipped.

If you’d like more information on Ernie please call AWS at (248) 548-1150. And you’re welcome to drop by the shelter during regular hours of operation listed on their website and shake paws with Ernie. You’ll find them on John R in Madison Heights.

Even if Ernie is not what you’ve been looking for, AWS has so many dogs and cats and I’m sure one would be just perfect.

AWS has been saving lives for 30 years and they are a no kill shelter.
