Prince Reveals Another New Track ‘Breakfast Can Wait’

Hot on the heels of “Screwdriver” and “Rock and Roll Love Affair,” Prince has released another new song, “Breakfast Can Wait,” on his new, oddly decorated webstore. Featuring falsetto vocals and quirky samples, “Breakfast Can Wait” is a funky jam with sexy lyrics, reminiscent of his ’80s and ’90s material: “The only thing I’ve been hopin’ for is before you go to work babe / We get it on /  I ain’t tryin’ to make you blush but I just wanted tell ya / I think you’re great / I know you’re late but I need another taste / breakfast can wait.”

No news of a full album from the Purple One yet, but between six shows at a private jazz club in Minneapolis to audition a new drummerthe mysterious 3rd Eye Girl Twitter and YouTube accounts, releasing a lyric video for ‘Screwdriver’ and presenting the Record Of The Year award to Gotye at The 55thAnnual GRAMMYs – Prince seems to be ramping up into something fantastic.
