New Beer Bottle Lights Up

OK, we’ve already seen the beer can that turns blue when cold. Heineken is taking the concept many steps further with a bottle that puts on a light show. Called Ignite, it lights up when sipping, toasting, and flashes with the beats of music. Huffungton Post reports that it has 8 bright LEDs, an 8-bit microprocessor, a motion detector in its base and also a wireless network transceiver, yes you can call it an interactive beer bottle. I would say this is pretty much designed for use in clubs, and certainly parties, but I can see Joe Blow in Flat Rock also benefiting from the technology when grabbing a beer in the middle of the night.
