Mick Jagger ‘Categorically Denies’ Hitting On Katy Perry

Haven’t been getting any sleep lately because you lay awake nights, sweating, wondering whether Mick Jagger hit on Katy Perry?

During an interview with an Australian radio station, Perry said that she sang backing vocals on his 2004 song “Old Habits Die Hard” from the soundtrack to Alfie. During the sessions, she claims that Jagger hit on her, and noted that she was 18 years old at the time.

Yesterday, Jagger released a statement through a representative where he “categorically denies that he has ever made a pass at Katy Perry. Perhaps she is confusing him with someone else.”

On one hand, Mick Jagger is pretty hard to mix up with someone else. On the other: When has Jagger ever ardently denied hitting on anyone? Whatever the case may be, Perry didn’t hold too much of a grudge; she performed with the Rolling Stones at the Las Vegas stop on their “50 & Counting” tour back in May.
