Journey/Steve Miller Band To Co-Headline 2014 Tour

Some of San Francisco’s finest bands will be hitting the road together for the first time ever: Journey and the Steve Miller Band will co-headline an extensive tour in 2014. Rounding out the bill will be R&B-funk group Tower of Power (who are from Oakland, not San Francisco).

“This is going to be a not-to-be-missed trifecta of the best of soul, greatest hits and arena rock by three of the greatest bands to come out of San Francisco, clearly a once in a lifetime event. We can’t wait to get started!” Steve Miller said in a statement.

Miller recently marked the 40th anniversary of his Joker album this year. He commented, “I can’t think of a better way for ‘The Joker’ to celebrate his 40th and the Steve Miller Band to enjoy next summer than playing all our hits for all of our fans as we tour the entire USA with our brother San Francisco bands, Journey and the Tower Of Power,” Miller added.
