Gia Warner was born into the world of music….literally! Gia’s dad is musician Bobby Lewis and she was born while his band was traveling through the state of Michigan. 10 days later, she was back on the road with the family touring the country.
A few years later, Gia’s dad became part of “Motown” just about the time she was ready to start school and the family made a permanent return to Michigan.
Guitar lessons piano lessons dance lessons all followed. Summers at the Interlochen music camps.
Gia joined her first rock band in the 9th grade playing keyboards. Commercial work would come next….singing the theme song for the Fox sitcom “Herman’s Head”. Voice-Over work for Ford, Mercury, Taco Bell, Quiquita, NBC and many others.
Now, after years of playing gigs all over the country and sharing the stage with the likes of Kevin Bacon, Steve Miller, Detroit’s own Martha Reeves and Earl Klugh, Gia Warner has released her first full length CD called “Love”.
In Gia’s own words: “I am so excited that my dearest friends, Detroit’s brightest and most talented have contributed to this work. One of them being my own dad, Bobby Lewis, who played amazing guitar all over this record. I cannot wait for you to hear it!”
