Ringo Starr was in New York on Thursday where he unveiled an exhibit of his art work. In addition to his computer art, there are also stencils as well as some of his photos.
Asked what he thought when he walked in and saw his work displayed he told us it was “great! I loved it… When you see it like art, on the wall framed, it’s a great feeling.”
He also has exhibits at the Hard Rock Cafe in Chicago and the Ocean Gallery in Stone Harbor, New Jersey, just outside Atlantic City.
Ringo is on another tour with his All-Starr Band. During their show on Wednesday he was joined on “With a Little Help from My Friends” by E Street Band guitarist Steve Van Zandt, Billy Squier, Judy Collins and sax player Mark Rivera, who is normally Ringo’s musical director, but had to sit out this tour because he is on the road with Billy Joel.
Ringo and his All Star Band perform in the Detroit area Next Friday night, June 27th, at DTE Energy Music Theater.
