Dave Grohl on Kanye West Playing Glastonbury: ‘It Could be a F—ing Disaster’

Dave Grohl has a few opinions on Kanye West’s upcoming headlining set and we’re sure if you clicked on this story for the headline, you’re thinking they’re all bad. But, in actuality, Grohl is rooting the rapper on.

In an interview with NME, the Foo Fighter, who is nursing a broken leg, says Kanye’s upcoming gig at the Glastonbury Festival this weekend will either be the best thing ever, or just complete chaos.

But, Grohl does think those who tried to petition to have him taken off the bill—the creator of the petition said him being at the fest was an “outrage”—are just wasting their time.

“I don’t know that much about Kanye’s music but right now Kanye vs. Glastonbury is about as close to that old school [clashing] vibe as you’re going to get,” he said, comparing Kanye to Public Enemy.
