Bono on His Recovery: ‘I’m Getting There’

U2 frontman Bono is still recovering from his injuries from a bicycling accident last year in New York, but as he said in an interview with CBS Boston radio station Mix 104, “I can’t play guitar, which none of the band seems to mind. I’m not the world’s greatest guitar player, but I use the guitar to write songs… I miss it. I miss playing it. I’ve got some nerve damage, we’ll fix it up. I’m fine.”

The Edge added that “I think he’s recovered really well and singing like a bird, back on stage, doing his thing. That took a lot of focus to recover so fast, but we’re very happy he’s back to full strength.”
