Don Henley says “he’s ready” for Friday’s release of his first album in 15 years,Cass County.
Don Henley brings his Cass County Tour to Detroit’s Fox Theater November 7th.
The album had been in the works for years, but Henley says that’s normal for him. “I always take a long time to make a solo album. I don’t do them very often. I’m from the school that believes in quality over quantity… So I’ve only been able to work on this album in between Eagles touring.”
Cass County, available as a standard 12-song collection or a 16-track deluxe version, features appearances by Mick Jagger, Dolly Parton, Martina McBride, Miranda Lambert, Vince Gill and others. Henley starts a tour in support of it on October 3rd in Phoenix, with a warm-up performance on ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live on October 1st.
