Billy Idol has announced dates for a Las Vegas residency at the House of Blues at Mandalay Bay.
According to the Las Vegas Sun, the show titled Billy Idol Forever is set for nearly a dozen dates at the House of Blues kicking on March 16, 2016. The British rocker will also take the stage on March 18, 19, 23, 25, 26 and May 4, 6, 7, 11 and 14. Tickets begin at $79.50 and go on sale at 10 AM Friday via the House of Blues website.
Idol, who turns 60 on Nov. 30, will be joined by legendary guitarist Steve Stevens and is expected to perform a healthy dose of his hits including “Rebel Yell,” “Dancing With Myself,” “White Wedding” “Eyes Without a Face” and his popular cover of Tommy James and the Shondells’ hit “Mony Mony.”
In a press release Idol states: “Watch out, Vegas! We are planning a beast of a show that will rock and surprise my fans.” He added, “Particularly those who adhere to the ‘what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas’ mantra!”
The Las Vegas Sun also reported that Idol’s show is filling in for the room’s regular headliner Carlos Santana, when the legendary guitarist is off.
