Former ‘Biggest Loser’ Contestant is Suing After 150 Pound Weigh Gain

TMZ reports former The Biggest Loser season two contestant Suzanne Medonca is suing the show, citing it wrecked her metabolism (resulting in weigh gain), caused emotional distress and left her broke, among other allegations.

“They dehydrated us, they told us not to drink for 48 hours before a weigh-in,” Medonca tells TMZ. “We would only eat 800 calories a day, and we’d actually workout eight hours a day.”

“I vomited every single day … it was exhausting and terrible practices going on at The Biggest Loser.”

“The reason why I gained my weight back is 100 percent because of The Biggest Loser, there is no question. There’s a research that just came out that [the show] disturbed and ruined our metabolic rate – they ruined us.”

Medonca also told Fox News she was asked to gain 30-40 pounds before coming on the show.
