Elton John: Ranking His 10 Greatest Songs

There’s no doubt that Elton John ranks with rock’s greatest and most prolific stars — but what are his 10 greatest songs?

Britian’s Guardian newspaper says his breakthrough single, “Your Song,” ranks first. The paper says, “He went on to sell more than 100 million singles, but his first hit is still one of his defining moments. And its opening line — ‘It’s a little bit funny/ This feeling inside’ — remains instantly recognizable.”
