Michigan certainly isn’t lacking in the beach department.
With 3,000 miles of Great Lakes shoreline (not counting inland lake shorelines) and summer quickly closing in, it begs the question: What are Michigan’s best beach towns?
Thrillst compiled a ranking of the best beach towns in the state, each offering “great food and great booze” with waterfront real estate.
12. Suttons Bay
11. Empire/Glenn Arbor
8. South Haven
6. Benton Harbor/St. Joseph
5. Traverse City
1. Grand Haven
