JetBlue Passenger Shorts Too Short

By: Beau Daniels

Careful what you wear on a flight this summer. Mashable reports a passenger was told she could not be on a JetBlue flight because her shorts were too short, “The gate and on board crew discussed the customer’s clothing and determined that the burlesque shorts may offend other families on the flight.” Thinking fast the lady entered an airport gift shop and purchased some longer trunks.

Props to JetBlue for the way they treated the passenger, “While the customer was not denied boarding, the crew members politely asked if she could change. The customer agreed and continued on the flight without interruption. We support our crew members’ discretion to make these difficult decisions, and we decided to reimburse the customer for the cost of the new shorts and offered a credit for future flight as a good will gesture.”

So if you fly JetBlue, wear something appropriate, bring a change of clothes to and you might get a voucher.
