After all the mess between Steve Miller and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame concerning his disapproval of the amount of tickets provided to him for his induction, and other alleged mistreatment, he is now investigating the organization. Ultimate Classic Rock reports on Millers rant, “It was like, ‘Shut the f— up. If you don’t do what we tell you to do, we’re gonna cut you from the show.’ ‘Really? Cut us from the show.’ So, then they’d say, ‘OK, we’re not gonna cut you from the show and you can have five tickets for the band.’ ‘F— you. We want tickets for the band, the wives and stuff. It just went on.”
So now Miller wants an investigation on how they spend their funds, “I’ve already got all their public documents, and I want to see where they’re spending the money. I want to see who’s being paid. I want to check it all out.” Doesn’t look like he is brushing the past conflict off his shoulder, “They’re gonna be sorry that they treated all these people this way. … And the funding they raise is actually gonna be used for music education before I’m done.” See more here from UCR.
