According to Good Housekeeping, buyers are willing to pay up to $35,000 for a specific type of quarter.
Certain quarters printed in 1970 feature a small mistake that collectors are desperate to get their hands on. These special quarters were printed over 1941 Canadian quarters and, as a result, feature a tiny “1941” marking above the word “dollar” on the coin’s tails side.
