Santana: Tweaking The “Star-Spangled Banner”

For the second year in a row,¬†Carlos Santana and his wife, drummer Cindy Blackman, performed the “Star-Spangled Banner” at the NBA Finals.

Before game two of the series between the hometown Golden State Warriors and the Cleveland Cavaliers last night in Oakland, California, they turned in an explosive version of the national anthem.

This rendition was similar to last year’s, when the same two teams faced off, although Carlos and Cindy changed the arrangement slightly. Another minor difference this time out — the public address announcer introduced only Carlos and not Cindy.
