Music Artist’s Who Predicted Their Own Death

By: Beau Daniels

This is a trip. Many music artist made accurate predictions on when they would die in the music they pinned. Ultimate Classic Rock pointed out the strange lyrics that associates with their deaths. Jimi Hendrix wrote this in “The Ballad of Jimi,” “Five years, this he said / He’s not gone, he’s just dead.” He did pass five years later.

For Lynyrd Skynyrd, it’s the song “That Smell” and the “Street Survivors” album cover. The song said, “Say you’ll be alright come tomorrow, but tomorrow might not be here for you,” “Angel of darkness upon you,” “The smell of death surrounds you.” The album was released a few days before the plane crash with flames surrounding the band on the cover. The album was re-issued without the flames.
